Confirming the reports, Raju Srivastava has today cleared that he is shooting for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. While the dark clouds continue to loom over the fate of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ host has got a temporary respite with Raju Srivastava joining it for a few episodes.
Confirming the same to a leading news channel, the 53-year-old comedian revealed that she has started shooting for the show.
He said, “Yes, I have started shooting for this show. The channel and the team are happy with the episodes I have shot for them and have called me for more episodes.”
Srivastava who is clueless about how the channel is going to present his character stamped on the reports that he is the new entry on the weekend show.
He stated,”I don’t know how the channel is going to represent my character or my acts to the audience. But this is true that I’m shooting for the show and will feature in the show as a ‘new entry.’
Earlier, speaking about the fallout between Kapil and Sunil, Srivastava said that the former is not able to deal with the pressure that comes along and added, “Kapil success ke pressure ko jhelnai pa raha. I don’t think he is arrogant, I just feel he can’t deal with the pressure that comes along . No matter which show it is, be it a function or a shaadi, people always want Kapil to come and perform. This is why he has even stopped answering his phone calls.”
The comedian had initially tried to be the
peace maker between Sunil and Kapil who have had a fall-out, but the meeting
did not materialise. About him being a part of the show for good, Raju is
quoted saying, “Talks are on, but things are yet to be finalised I don’t
want to rush into it, but it’s a great opportunity. Sharing the stage with
Kapil is always fun.”

Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar, who boycotted the show after the Kapil
hurled abuses at them and assaulted Sunil in a flight while returning from
Meanwhile, quashing rumours about returning back to the show Sunil Grover has cleared that it is all a lie.
Grover also clarified that he hasn’t yet signed any show with the rival channel and at present is just focusing on live shows.
