Fatima Sana Shaikh has won several accolades for essaying the real of Geeta Phogat in the much-acclaimed Dangal, and the young actress has not put one wrong step yet. She was recently in the news for doing Thugs of Hindostan and then the word of her working in Saif Ali Khan’s Bazzar did the rounds.
Now, we hear that Fatima has also been approached to star in the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer, Chandamama Door Ke. Says a source close to development. “The makers of Chandamama have been hunting for a leading lady, and they’re keen on casting Fatima for this film. Right now, nothing is on paper, so one can’t confirm anything about this.”
When contacted, Fatima remained tight-lipped about her involvement in the Sanjay Puran Singh movie.
“I’m sorry, I can’t talk about it,” she said. “i can’t say anything right now.” The makers of the movie have already blocked for the science-fiction movie, where Sushant plays an astronaut.
As Sushant Singh Rajput made an announcement about his new project, Romeo Akbar Walter – his third film slated to roll this year – there is much speculation around his space drama, Chanda Mama Door Ke. Producer Viki Rajani had told us last November that the film is meant to start rolling in May this year. In January, Sushant began prepping for it and even posted a series of videos on social media to announce it to the world. However, the project is proving to be too time-consuming for its own good.
Fatima, who plays Geeta Phogat in Dangal said that she would LOVE to romance Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh next and Sanya picked Ranbir. Now that was pretty much expected considering both RK and RS are ruling the hearts of millions in the country. They are both dashing, sexy and they have a huge fan following thanks to their great acting skills! Well, wouldn’t you love to see Fatima and Sanya romance Mr Kapoor and Mr Singh onscreen? We’d absolutely love it if that happens!
