Try These Tips To Prevent Dry Skin On The Legs In Winter!

In the midst of focusing too much on hair and facial things, many of you forget about legs, right? I mean, you take care of your hair growth, split ends, pimples, acne and even dry lips. But have you ever noticed dry skin on the legs? Look, this is winter season, and the dry skin on the legs is quite expected. Few days back, when I was having some me-time and was sitting on the bed I suddenly noticed that my skin on the legs is super dry. It really pissed me off at first then I start following these tips-

So, without worrying, follow these ways to prevent dry skin on the legs:

Do Not Shower with Hot Water

Getting shower with hot water can be really dangerous and you need to avoid that totally. Don’t worry I am not talking to completely avoid it. But at least make sure that the water is not so hot. Because as you put hot water onto your skin, it removes the natural oil from your skin and makes your skin more dry.

Use a Good Moisturising Soap

There are many people who really don’t care about which type of soap they are using.But trust me this behaviour is not good at all. When you’re buying soap always make sure that it will work for your skin type. Don’t use the same soap that your family members are using already.

Don’t Rub Your Legs Too Harsh

I understand that we all want our legs clean, but don’t rub it too harsh. Do not rub your legs with a full force and be careful with whatever item you are using.

Apply Good Moisturizer

As soon as you are done with your shower, apply some good moisturizer onto your skin and be gentle while applying it. Applying moisturizer will soften your skin and the dryness will completely disappear.I recommend you to apply glycerin after taking shower. As it is the best moisturizer that provides 24 hours nourishment to your body.

Use Oil

Before going to the bed, always apply some coconut oil or any oil that is suitable for your leg. While applying the oil, massage a bit. Leave it overnight and when you wake up in the morning, you’re free to repeat the step.

Use a Clean Razor

If you’ve to shave your legs, then re-check your razor that you’ll use. Make sure that it is clean and a good one. Because if the razor is not clean,then you can get skin irritation as well. So either buy a new one or keep it clean.
