Mandira Bedi was born on 15th april,1972 in Kolkata, India. She is an Indian actress,fashion designer, model and television presenter who gained celebrity status playing the title role in the 1994 television serial “Shanti” shown on India’s national channel, Doordarshan which was the first ever daily soap on Indian television.
Mandira Bedi is one of the well known names inside the television world. She started the best career withthe play named “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi” on Star Plus. She even hosted superbly with the ICC Cricket World Cups in the years 2003 and 2007 in addition to the Champions Trophies in the years 2004 and 2006 as well as the Indian Premier League season 2 for Sony Max. At the same time she gives away the first appearance as being the designer at the time of the Lakme Fashion Week 2014with her Saree Collection.
In addition to all such stuff she was the judge for two comedy shows Funjabi Chak De and Laughter Knights along in the company of well known personality Navjot Singh Sidhu on Star One.
