6 Naturals Hacks to Get Silky Straight Hair Without Straighteners

While some girls are going extreme lengths to curl their hairs, here is that section of girls who are trying to get silky smooth hair. You don’t need to use the straightening rods all the time to get the straight hair. You can get the straight and silky hair without damaging them using the heat based products. Here are some natural hacks to get silky smooth hair without using a straightening iron.

Coconut and Lemon Juice

Add a few drops of lemon juice to freshly prepared coconut milk, and mix well. Keep the glass of coconut milk and lemon juice into refrigerator for a few hours. A thick foamy layer will appear over the glass, which needs to be applied on the scalp and entire length of the hair right away. Steam your hair for 15-20 minutes after this and follow it up with a hair wash with mild shampoo. Repeat this process regularly to get straighter hair naturally.

Celery Leaves

Crush a few fresh celery leaves and mix them with a little water. Squeeze it to extract the juice and store it in bottle. The bottle has to be left unused for at least a day, so as to allow the juice to develop properties and effectiveness for straightening. Using it regularly, preferably in the morning before bath will help in straightening hair. Massage it well on the scalp and leave it for 15-30 minutes, prior to washing it off with a shampoo.

Milk is known to have moisturising properties, which are suitable in straightening the hair. Take half a cup of milk, preferably boiled and cooled. Then mix it with half a cup of water. Store it in a spray bottle and spray over the hair. Allow it to stand for half an hour, before shampooing the hair. This mixture will help in straightening as well as softening the hair naturally.

castor oil

Castor oil

Castor oil is known to have hair growth and hair straightening properties. Massage the oil on the scalp, along your hair strands and then comb your hair properly. As you comb, blow dry your hair, which has been separated into sections, on high heat. The hair should feel dry and not oily after being blow dried. When done, wrap it with a chilled towel and leave for half an hour. It will soothe the hair from excessive heat and will restore the straightness.

Apple Cider Vinegar
If you haven’t purchased a bottle of this magical potion, then what are you waiting for? It restores the natural pH of your hair which is otherwise disrupted by the alkaline products we’re using on our hair. To make this DIY conditioner, mix 2 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar with one cup of water. Rinse your hair with this mixture after shampooing your hair. Leave it on your hair and let your hair dry naturally.

Whip the eggs properly and add 4 tbsp. of olive oil to it. Apply the mixture on your hair and scalp. Leave your hair for half an hour and then wash it off using a mild shampoo.
